Hiking in the South began as an online guide for hikes in the South Peninsula in Cape Town, intended mainly for a local hiking group. It has since expanded into a curated list of the some of the best hikes in the South, complete with links to All Trail route maps to help with navigation. 

Please refer to the Grading and Route Notes, as while most of the All Trails routes are straightforward, not all are easy to follow.
